Strand has attracted experts in the field of DNA testing. Our Chief Operating Officer, Susan Narveson, is an internationally recognized DNA expert who was formerly the Chief of the investigative and Forensic Sciences Division of NIJ's Office of Science and Technology. Dr. Arthur Eisenberg, an established authority on parentage testing and an innovator in the area of missing person identification, is Strand's Parentage Testing advisor. Strand's forensic technical leader is Dr. Barbara Llewellyn whose experience includes servering as an assistant laboratory director for the Illinois State Police and as the statewide DNA Technical Leader for the Illinois State Police Forensic Command.
