DNA Specimen Provenance Assay

Strand provides molecular testing for the patent pending know error® specimen security system. Complementing conventional histopathology with the DNA Specimen Provenance Assay ("DSPA") conducted by Strand significantly improves the sensitivity of the biopsy-pathology-diagnosis test cycle, giving physicians and patients more complete diagnostic data on which to base therapy decisions. A pathology report alone vs. a pathology report with DSPA concurrence is the difference between believing the patient has cancer, and knowing the patient has cancer.
