About Us

Strand Laboratories' leadership is second to none. Our Vice President of Corporate Development, Susan D. Narveson, previously served as the Chief of Investigative and Forensic Sciences Division for the National Institute of Justice (NIJ). Prior to this, she was the Administrator of the Laboratory Services Bureau with the Phoenix Police Department, where she was responsible for managing the operation of a full service crime laboratory. She has also served as the President of the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors, and as an officer for various other organizations.

Narveson leads a team of highly trained scientists and experienced project managers, operating from a purpose-built 12,000 sq. ft. facility that incorporates the most advanced equipment and processes available.
